About Cecily Montgomery
Cecily Montgomery, MD, is a Washington, DC, native who has relocated from Charlottesville, Virginia, to join Primary Health Group – Chippenham.
Dr. Montgomery attended the Howard University College of Arts and Sciences, in Washington, DC, for her undergraduate degree in Biology, with which she graduated magna cum laude. She remained at Howard University College of Medicine to complete her medical training, and then moved to Charlottesville, where she completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Dr. Montgomery has been honored with various awards during her academic career including induction into Phi Beta Kappa, an Outstanding Service and Leadership Award from Howard University College of Medicine, receiving the James Jeter Scholarship for a medical student demonstrating exemplary commitment to service and merit, and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Montgomery is board-eligible with the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians. She has served on various committees including the Patient Centered Medical Home Committee and Practice Clinical Council Committee. Dr. Montgomery is currently welcoming new patients and referrals.
